Sustainable Technologies for Advanced Resilient and Energy-Efficient Networks

About

The SUSTAINET Project

In an era marked by global crises and geopolitical uncertainty, Europe must accelerate its path toward a digitally sovereign and climate-neutral future. As its global ICT market share declines, strengthening technological independence becomes urgent.

This project tackles the challenge with a holistic research approach—focusing on network resilience, energy efficiency, sustainability, high-performance connectivity, and cybersecurity. Seamless interconnection of digital systems is essential for future-proof communication infrastructures, especially in critical sectors such as energy. Resilient, scalable networks must be able to withstand failures and threats while integrating intelligent, context-aware services.
