The conference covers a broad range of topics including optical transport technologies, AI-driven network automation, network resilience, security, and future communication infrastructures. ONDM 2026 offers a platform for scientific exchange through technical sessions, keynotes, tutorials, and workshops.
Within the conference program, two specialized workshops will address current challenges in network intelligence and security: “Advances in Network Security: Challenges, Opportunities, and Future Research Directions” and “A decade of AI/ML for optical networks: What is missing for carrier-grade intelligence?”. These workshops will explore emerging approaches to secure, resilient, and AI-enabled optical networks. Conference dates: 12–15 May 2026
